Highlights from 2017
We wanted to review some of the highlights from 2017 at Heads Over Heels.
- Over 800 high impact offers were made to our Portfolio
- 8 new Portfolio CEOs joined Heads Over Heels with over 180 now in our Pipeline
- We launched in Melbourne with our first Portfolio event in May
- And we partnered with other great entrepreneur focused organisations including StartCon, SheStarts, SBE Australia, Scale, Stone & Chalk, Tank Stream and the Galaxy Convention (USYD).
Galaxy Convention
Around 150 students from across Australia gathered at the University of Sydney from the 4th-5th of December, to participate in the CAASTRO Galaxy Convention (#GalCon) a 2-day event focused on female innovation and entrepreneurship in the STEM space.
Heads Over Heels was a proud partner of the conference, with 3 of our Portfolio CEOs presenting as well as our Board members, Felicity Waterford and Fiona Boyd.

Property Tech Boardroom Briefings – 3 events across Sydney and Melbourne
Heads Over Heels recently hosted a series of boardroom briefings where senior executive leaders in the real estate, construction, business and investment industry were invited to listen to presentations discussing the leading trends in Property Technology and Innovation.

Heads Over Heels for Stone & Chalk
Supporting early-stage entrepreneurs
As part of the 2017 Spark Festival Heads Over Heels partnered with leading fintech hub Stone and Chalk to help early-stage startup founders make connections for growth.
The night was a great success with a casual, entertaining atmosphere and one united ‘huddle’ consisting of audience members who banded together to help 5 incredible female founders.
